A tree is already part of the landscape. Why not make it part of the seating design too? 🌳
When designing a park, plaza, resort or commercial outdoor space, benches are often treated as individual products.
But there is another way to think about outdoor seating:
Instead of placing a bench next to the landscape, why not make the landscape itself part of the furniture?
This is the idea behind our modular tree bench.
1. From “A Bench” to “A Seating Space”
Traditional park benches usually have one simple function:
sit down.
But public-space furniture can do more.
A well-designed tree bench can combine:
- Seating
- Landscape integration
- Space utilization
- Visual identity
- Community interaction
The circular configuration allows people to sit around an existing tree while maintaining an open space for the tree itself.
For urban parks and public spaces, this creates a more natural relationship between people, furniture and greenery.
2. Modularity Makes the Design More Flexible
One of the biggest challenges in outdoor projects is that every site is different.
Tree diameter, available space, pedestrian flow and landscape design can all vary.
That is why modularity matters.
Our current design features:
Outer diameter: 1.8 m Tree opening: 0.5 m
The modular structure can be adapted according to different project requirements.
Instead of designing the entire outdoor space around a standard bench, project designers can consider the tree, the surrounding space and the seating requirement together.
That creates more possibilities for:
🌳 Parks 🏙️ Urban plazas 🏨 Hotels & resorts 🏫 Schools & campuses 🏢 Commercial developments 🌿 Landscape projects
3. The Product Is Only One Part of the Solution
For project buyers, choosing outdoor furniture is rarely just about appearance.
They also need to consider:
Will it fit the site?
Can the factory produce the required quantity?
Can the dimensions be customized?
Will the structure be suitable for outdoor use?
Can the supplier handle international delivery?
These questions are often more important than the product photo itself.
That is why we look at the tree bench as a project product, rather than simply another park bench.
4. From Design to Manufacturing
A finished outdoor product may look simple.
But behind a modular tree bench is a complete manufacturing process.
From metal frame fabrication and welding to wood processing, assembly and quality inspection, each stage affects the final result.
For large projects, consistency becomes particularly important.
When dozens or hundreds of units are required, buyers need more than a good prototype.
They need:
Consistent dimensions. Consistent materials. Consistent finishing. Consistent production.
This is where factory manufacturing becomes important.
5. Built for Projects, Not Just for Photos
A beautiful product image can attract attention.
But a successful outdoor furniture project requires much more.
It requires a product that can move from:
Design → Specification → Production → Quality Control → Packing → Shipping → Installation
That is the complete customer journey we have in mind when developing outdoor furniture.
Our goal is not simply to manufacture another bench.
It is to help landscape designers, contractors, developers and project buyers turn an outdoor-space concept into a physical product.
What Could You Do With the Space Around a Tree?
Perhaps the next time you walk through a park, don't just look at the benches.
Look at the trees.
How many of those spaces could become comfortable seating areas?
How could seating improve the way people interact with a public space?
And how could a modular furniture system make that easier?
Sometimes, better outdoor design doesn't require more space.
It requires making better use of the space that already exists. 🌳
If you are working on a park, landscape, hotel, resort or commercial outdoor project, we'd be happy to share the technical specifications, available designs and customization options for this modular tree bench.
What do you think — should outdoor furniture adapt to the landscape, or should the landscape adapt to the furniture?#UrbanFurniture #OutdoorFurniture #LandscapeDesign #UrbanDesign #ParkFurniture #StreetFurniture #PublicSpace #LandscapeArchitecture #OutdoorProjects #TreeBench
